Privacy

Dergwise can be explored without creating an account. Device location is requested only when you deliberately use the map’s location control; the current trial does not store that location.

Contributor submissions

Suggestions, corrections and photographs are held privately for editorial review. Optional contact details are used only to verify or discuss the submission. Photographs are processed in the browser before upload to remove ordinary embedded metadata, including normal EXIF location fields.

Public data and maps

The guide loads map tiles and selected public-source links from third parties. Those providers may receive normal technical request data, such as an IP address and browser information, under their own policies.

Safety

Dergwise is for planning and discovery. It is not a navigation chart, emergency service or substitute for official notices, forecasts, signs or local instructions.
